TWICE champion Australian stallion More Then Ready proved once again how the world really is a small place certainly so far as racing is concerned with  nine winners across four continents at the weekend.

More Than Ready was responsible for winners in Canada, The United Kingdom, Singapore, Macau, two in Japan, three in the U.S and one here in Australia as the southern hemisphere season draws to a close.

“Peter Orton has made the comment before that it doesn’t matter what kind of surface More Than Ready’s progeny race on, be it dirt or turf – good or heavy – that they are a very adpatable breed and I think that is the mark of what people mean when they talk of ‘global stallions”, Vinery’s Adam White said.

More Than Ready has sired 118 individual winners in Australia so far this season from 174 runners which represents a tremendous 67.8 percent winners to runners ratio.
Among those are 8 stakes winners and a further 8 stakes placed performers.

“There seem’s certain to be two More Than Ready two-year-olds among then top ten this year (Brightexpectations and More Strawberries) which is in keeping with his well known record with the two-year-olds,” White added.
“He will also have More Joyous placed very highly at the top of the 3YO rankings which ends another great year for the stallion whose international appeal just continues to grow.”
