VINERY Stud is hopeful of pulling of a Doncaster Mile quinella at Royal Randwick this weekend represented in the big one by leading chances Typhoon Tracy and Danleigh.

Both of these multiple Group One winners were reared at Vinery Stud in their formative days while Typhoon Tracy’s dam – Tracy’s Element – is a permanent boarder on the property.

Meanwhile, it looks as if the co-feature Group One Galaxy (1100m) could also be an all Vinery affair given the presence of Testa Rossa mares Ortensia and Rostova.

Ortensia is out to keep her wonderful first-u record intact having not faced the starter since winning the Group two WATC Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) in Perth.

Rostova arrives at Randwick having claimed the Group One Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m) in Adelaide last month with a sweeping last to first effort.
