STALLION HANDLER

Vinery Stud is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated person to join our team in a full-time position as stallion handler. Previous experience is preferred but is not necessary and on-farm training will occur in the role over time.

This will be a varied role and tasks will include all aspects of horse husbandry in both the arrivals and stallion areas as well as feeding, grooming, parading, assisting with veterinary and farrier work and assisting with covers.

The successful applicant will have experience with horses, have the ability to work well within a team, and will possess a high level of professionalism and dedication.

Vinery Stud is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Scone, in the Hunter Valley. Vinery housing can be discussed as part of the remuneration package.

TRUCK DRIVER

Vinery Stud is currently seeking a truck driver to join our team for the upcoming breeding season. Vinery has its own truck and applicants will require a medium rigid licence.

The successful applicant will be working as part of a team in a varied role. Tasks will include taking walk out mares to other stud farms and transporting horses around the farm. This is a seasonal position but has the potential to become a full time position.

Vinery Stud is renowned for breeding and raising elite thoroughbreds and is conveniently located in the prestigious Segenhoe Valley, just 10 minutes from Scone.

The ideal applicant will be a self-motivator, capable of working both as part of a team and independently.
