PROGRESSIVE Mossman 3YO Triple Elegance will likely go for a well earned spell after recording his third straight win this preparation in today’s STC Blue’s Point Hotel Handicap (1200m) in Sydney.
The Chris Waller trained gelding defied a betting drift to beat Darley runner Counterpane by a neck with Flaming Rock a half length away in third.

Today’s win was Triple Elegance’s fourth career win from only nine starts and sets him up for a return in the summer with races like the G2 AJC Villiers Handicap (1600m) looming as a distinct possibility.

His effort gave Mossman a winning double at Rosehill following 2yo Agister’s gutsy win in an earlier race.

Waller’s charge is out of former smart mare Mary Machree who foaled a Mossman colt in 2009 foaled on November 16, three years to the day that she delivered Triple Elegance.  With Mossman proving yet again that he is one of Australia’s most prolific sires, the future looks bright for this family.
