Talented 3yo, From London heads an emerging group of talented Testa Rossa youngster’s aimed at Group 1 glory this Spring.

Six times Group One winner and multiple Group One sire Testa Rossa enjoyed a stellar 2009/10 finishing sixth on the general sires rankings.  Ranked even higher by winners, Testa Rossa is surely one of the most consistent and sire’s in the Southern Hemisphere.

Represented by two new Gr.1 winners in 09/10, Testa Rossa’s performance and continued popularity saw his fee buck the market downturn and marginally increase to $44,000 inc GST this year.  Despite the increase, Testa Rossa is still the only Top Ten stallion under $50,000 and subsequently his book will be as strong as ever with arguably his best crops still to race.

As always, Testa Rossa has a vast team of quality young horses spread across the racing divide including the Cox Plate nominated and Patinack owned 3YO, From London.

The John Singleton bred From London is a combination of the first and second placegetters in the 1999 Magic Millions 2YO Classic where Testa Rossa beat Sally Magic by over four lengths.

From London broke his maiden at the Gold Coast during the winter before running an eye-catching fifth in the Listed BRC Australia Post (1400m) at Eagle Farm.

From London is among the entries for Saturday’s Group Three STC Run to the Rose (1300m) at Rosehill Gardens and joins the likes of Sienna Red, Red Colossus et al as likely star’s for their sire this season.
