TRAINER Joe Pride has labelled Testa Rossa filly Red Sienna a “potential top-liner” after her highly impressive debut win at Rosehill Gardens this afternoon.

The Warwick Farm based 2YO was masterfully handled by Corey Brown who found a way through the ruck despite being held-up for the best part of the straight.
Once clear, Red Sienna powered away from her rivals to score by a widening three-quarter-length margin over Mossman filly, Next The Universe.
“Red Sienna is an exciting filly and has the potential to be a top-liner,” Pride said.
“I can count the number of two-year-old winners I’ve had on my fingers but Red Oog, Regal Cheer and Jeteye all won.
“It was a fantastic ride by Corey (Brown).
“This filly has it all ahead of her. I don’t want to push her too much now because I think the autumn will be her forte.”

Sienna Red is out of Seattle Red who is a Red Ransom half-sister to Golden Slipper hero Prowl.
Seattle Red foaled a More Than Ready colt for owner/breeder Paul Fudge in the 2009 season.
Runner-up, Next The Universe, was gallant in defeat finishing fast to take second at only her third career start.
