MELBOURNE – TESTA Rossa’s Moonee Valley double last night coincided with a fifth win for the exciting mare Netra who was having only her eighth career start.

Trained Jarred McLean has been responsible for some precision placement with Netra who races in the colours made famous by her six times Group One winning sire.
Netra broke her maiden on debut at her home track at Warrnambool by seven lengths earlier this year and is yet to finish further back than fourth in all of her outings.

Netra’s win in the final event capped off a memorable night for Testa Rossa whose son, Testalux, who scored a well deserved win for connections in the Tatts Group Handicap (2040m).
