WELL known breeder David Bentata teamed up with former champion jockey trainer turned trainer Ron Quinton to win the STC TAB Number 1 Club Handicap (1200m) with home-bred mare Ofcourseican.

Ofcourseican is a daughter of Vinery Stud resident sire Mossman from Bentata’s former smart galloper Yes She Can Cancan (by Canny Lad).

Trained at Randwick by Quinton, Yes She Can Cancan was placed fourth in the G2 Light Fingers Stakes.
Today marks the fourth win for Ofcourseican whose earnings now stand at $135,295.

“I’d really like to get some black type with her,” Quinton said.

“She ran a good race when sixth in the Nivison a couple of weeks ago and I think I’ll probably back her up in the Lightning.”

Ofcourseican was one of two metropolitan winners for Mossman today having score earlier at Eagle Farm when two-year-old Double Impact won his second race in as many starts.
