THE untimely loss of emerging star stallion Danetime was magnified by the loss of new stakes winner Valentine Miss in the Group Three MRC How Now Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield yesterday.
Danetime has now sired 28 individual stakeswinners and 21 stakes placegetters worldwide from just six crops with a winners-to-runners of 65 percent.
The son of supersire Danehill was responsible for consecutive winners of the coveted Group One Prix Morny at Longchamp beginning with Vinery Stud resident Myboycharlie. From the family of Portillo, Snowland, Snippetson and Snow Alert, Myboycharlie is one of the best bred son’s of Danetime already at stud and has been exceptionally well recieved at Vinery.
Danetime also produced a Group One winner here in Australia via outstanding WA galloper Megatic.
