MORE Than Ready is chasing Group One glory in both hemispheres this weekend via Breeders’ Cup Juvenile hopeful Major Gain and the glamour mare More Joyous who contests the Toorak Handicap in Melbourne.

More Then Ready has put on several new Stakeswinners in just the last months which has seen his tally soar to 75 overall in quick time.

For all of More Than Ready’s heroics, he is yet to sire a Breeders Cup winner, but that could easily change come November.

It is possible that More Than Ready will have two runners in the Juvenile feature namely Major Gain and the Todd Pletcher-trained Pluck.
Both horses remain on schedule for the big one with Major Gain lining up for his third start in the Grade One US$40,000 Breeders’ Futurity at Keeneland in Kentucky on Saturday.

The colt has been posted a 5/1 chance in light of an impressive victory in the G3 Arlington-Washington Futurity at only his second career start.

Meanwhile, Todd Pletcher – the man who trained More Than Ready – has the well bred colt Pluck honing in on Churchill Downs following his win in G3 Summer Stakes at Woodbine.

Closer to home, glamour mare More Joyous is out to enhance her champion qualities when she contests the MRC Toorak Handicap (1600m) under a hefty 58kgs steadier.
The star mare from the Gai Waterhouse stable is aiming for her eighth straight win, the latest of which saw her power away from her rivals in the G1 AJC George Main Stakes (1600m) at Randwick.
