A WEANLING filly by Mossman with a double cross of legendary French import Twig Moss sold for $45,000 at the 2010 Great Southern Weanling sale at Oaklands Junction this afternoon.

The chestnut, sold on account of Glentree Downs Pastoral, was the only Mossman weanling in the sale and was purchased by Nathan Tinkler’s Patinack Farm.
Her dam, Magic Tumbler, was a talented daughter of Woodman who won four races and $100,475 and finished fourth in the Group Three VRC Matriarch Stakes (2000m).

Buyers who missed out on this Mossman filly have four opportunities for redress at the 2010 National Weanling sale which starts on the Gold Coast on May 26.  Vinery will present Lot 344, a Mossman filly out of a half sister to Gr.1 South Australian Derby winner Blue Murder.
