WILLIAM Inglis & Son’s 2010 Premier Yearling sale concluded this week with a notable rise in prices across both sessions.

There was strong competition from buyers on most yearlings which was reflected in Vinery Stud’s 100 percent clearance rate.

“We were able to sell all eight of our draft which is a fantastic result for our clients,” Vinery Stud’s Adam White said.

“This follows on from the Gold Coast Magic Millions where we sold 23 of our 24 yearlings.”

Apart from Vinery’s own performance as vendor, White was delighted with the response from buyers to progeny of stud residents More Than Ready, Testa Rossa, Mossman, Benicio and Excites.

“All of the stallions yearlings sold really well in particular a lovely filly from the first crop of Excites who made $100,000 frm the Turrunga draft,” White said.
