The Tony Noonan-trained mare asserted her complete dominance over her rivals sweeping past most of the field to go on and win by 1.5 lengths.
Her winning time of 1:08.56 seconds was a new race record.
The Winterbottom was Ortensia’s eighth win in 16 starts.
Ortensia has now won stakes races in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth.
