SCONE – VINERY resident Tracy’s Element was crowned Hunter Valley Thoroughbred Breeders Association Broodmare of the Year at a HVTB gala on Wednesday night.
The evening also honoured Magic Millions/Golden Slipper winner Phelan Ready who was named Champion 2YO.
Tracy’s Element was foaled at Vinery but was exported to South Africa where she won four G1’s and was acclaimed as the Champion 2YO and later Champion Older Mare.
The daughter of Last Tycoon has produced six to the races, all of whom are winners led by the unbeaten filly Typhoon Tracy (pictured), VRC A.R. Creswick Stakes winner Red Element and the three times G1 placed Kylikwong.
All three are by Red Ransom.
Tracy Element’s first foal, a Rahy filly named Traceable, produced the STC Silver Slipper Stakes G2 winner, Shaft.
