VINERY Stud resident Onemorenomore is turning out to be every bit as consistent as his sire, Red Ransom, at delivering high quality foals if his first few are any indication.

Red Ransom, a member of the ‘100 stakeswinners club’ was famous for imparting aristocratic qualities into his offspring – Onemorenomore himself a case in point, having sold for $800,000 at the 2008 Australian Easter Yearling sale.

And now Red Ransom’s only Group 1 winning 2YO is following suit with his first foals being warmly receive and widely acclaimed at numerous nurseries in and around the Hunter.

”Onemorenomore has received the best of mares any young stallion in the Valley could have hoped,” says Vinery Stud general manager Peter Orton.

” We are sincerely delighted with the Onemorenomore foals, we certainly had an expectation considering the quality and class of the stallion and of the foals we have to date, we couldn’t have wished for more.”

Onemorenomore attracted 145 mares in his first season, including 25 stakeswinners (seven Group 1 winners) and will cover another strong book again this season.

Onemorenomore defeated Manhattan Rain and Tickets by four lengths to win the Group 1 AJC Champagne Stakes (1600m) at 2.

His dam, Palia, has foaled four individual stakes performers and won the Group 3 AJC Emancipation Stakes.
