VINERY stallions Testa Rossa and More Than Ready are responsible for two fillies to make the top ten ranked Australasian 2YO’s this season.
Reisling Slipper winner and Golden Slipper placegetter Elite Falls (by More Than Ready – Niagara Falls) and Sires/Champagne placegetter, Pane In The Glass (Testa Rossa – Lyrics) were both afforded 115 on the official Classifications scale published this month by ANZ Bloodstock News. This places both as Joint Top Rated 2yo Fillies with Mosheen.
Elite Falls was the first filly home behind Sepoy in the Golden Slipper while Pane In The Glass was the first filly across the line in the remaining legs of the Grand Slam.
”I think the most encouraging aspect to these two fillies is that they both look like they will come into their own in the spring and once then get to a mile,” Vinery’s Conor Phelan said.
”They excelled during the autumn and will come back bigger and better in the spring, you can be sure of that.”
