AUSTRALIAN-BRED Testa Rossa son World Fortune made up for an unlucky second in a Group 1 last start by taking out the Listed Summer Sand Challenge (1700m) in Macau on Saturday.
The win sees World Fortune’s stakes eclipse the M$2.5 million helped along by placings in the Macau Derby and Star of the sand Stakes, both Group 1 (Mac) events.
World Fortune’s effort caps of a superlative weekend for Testa Rossa who sired the winners of the opening events at Moonee Valley (There’s Only One) and Sienna Red (Warwick Farm) as well as another new Stakes winner in Silver Shadow Stakes victor, Pane In The Glass.
Testa Rossa has now sired 36 individual Stakeswinners in a stellar career which has him firmly amongst Australia’s most consistently brilliant sire’s.
