CONSISTENT galloper and raging favourite Testa My Patience scored thoroughly convincing win for his sire Testa Rossa in yesterday’s MRC B M W Open Handicap (1400m) at Caulfield following on from Testas Double’s impressive victory at Moonee Valley on Friday evening.

The Mick Price trained gelding positioned himself right on the heels of the leader until he burst clear of the pack to score a dismissive 2.2-lens win, his sixth victory at start number 13.

Testa My Patience (Testa Rossa – Entente Cordiale) resumed with a slashing second behind Group 1 Galaxy winner Atomic Force in the Listed MRC Slickpix Stakes (1100m) on August 27 before finishing an unlucky third next time out at his home track, Caulfield.

The five-year-old has won over $200,000 for connections and proved himself worthy of another crack at black-type in ensuing starts given the dominance of his latest win.

Testa My Patience is one of 389 invidual winners for Testa Rossa who trades at an extraordinary 70.2 percent winners to runners strike rate keeping him amongst the Top Ten Australian Sires.
He is presently the sire of 37 stakes winners, 34 stakes placed and finished fourth in the both of the last two seasons by number of individual winners.
