HIGH class Testa Rossa filly Pane in the Glass can keep her Princess Series hopes of a clean sweep alive with a win in tomorrow’s Furious Stakes (1400m) at Warwick Farm.
The Nathan Tinkler owned 3YO earned herself a thoroughly deserved major stakeswin when charging past her rivals to score the Group 3 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) when resuming on August 20.
It was the fourth win of her eight starts and sent her earnings rocketing past the $600,000 barrier.
”Pane in the Glass hasn’t missed a place in any of her starts and was joint top rated two-year-old filly last year (with Elite Falls) after placing in the Sires and the Champagne,” says Vinery’s Conor Phelan.
”The step up from 1200m to 1400m is ideal at this stage of her preparation and if they can’t beta her tomorrow, they will have their work cut out trying to hold her out when she gets to a mile – maybe even further.”
