TESTA Rossa filly Pane In The Glass is out to prove a herself worthy pre-post One Thousand Guineas favourite when her spring campaign opens in the Group 3 Silver Shadow Stakes (1300m) at Warwick Farm tomorrow.

Last season’s joint top 2YO filly (with Elite Falls) hasn’t faced the starter since finishing runner-up to Helmet in the AJC Champagne Stakes Gr.1 in the autumn.

Prior to that she was a fast finishing third to the same horse in the coveted Sires’ Produce at Royal Randwick.

Pane In The Glass won a trial at Warwick Farm beating stablemate Win For Wilson and Darley filly Anise.

She appeared to be off her game slightly in her next official hit-out coming in ninth but trainer John Thompson isn’t overly concerned.

”You have to forget about her last trial,” stable spokesperson Robyn Hartney said.

”(She) was a bit slow away, got back to last and didn’t have anywhere to go.

”John is extremely happy with her and he was happy with her work at Randwick this (Tuesday) morning.”

Pane in the Glass currently heads the market for the MRC One Thousand Guineas (1600m) on October 12 at $10 ahead of Elite Falls ($11).
