TESTA Rossa mare Ortensia could be in line for another trip away with trainer Paul Messara considering a trip to Singapore for the $1m KrisFlyer Stakes (1200m) this May.

Ortensia has finished at the back half of the field at her two runs since returning from a triumphant Dubai/UK campaign but had had excuses both times.

“She is a bit stiff from the Newmarket,” Messara told AAP.

“The aim is to get her to the TJ Smith and after that the KrisFlyer is a possibility.

“It all depends on how she is but it’s there if she’s going well.”

Meanwhile, Ortensia’s sire Testa Rossa could be in-line for a big day in Melbourne on Saturday when shining lights Speediness (Thoroughbred Club Cup) and There’s Only One (Sunline Stakes) contest stakes races at Caulfield.
