THE first mare in foal to Vinery Stud freshman Onemorenomore was sold for $95,000 at this week’s prestigious Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare sale in Sydney.
Named Miz Nichols, the Danehill mare consigned by John Baxter’s Ruane was purchased by prominent bloodstock agent, Kieran Moore.
”It was a good result at a sale that has been rather tough in patches this first day,” Vinery’s Adam White said.
”Onemorenomore served an extremely strong book in his first year and I think breeders can expect them to be very well received when they step into the ring as weanling and yearlings.
”He was a magnificent yearling himself who made $800,000 and went onto become Red Ransom’s only Group 1 winning two-year-old and he won that race (AJC Champagne Stakes) by four lengths.”
