CHAMPION trainer Gai Waterhouse will unleash a bunch of incredibly well credentialed More Than Ready youngsters at Monday’s official 2YO Barrier Trials at Warwick Farm in Sydney.

Leading the way for Waterhouse is Magic Million graduate Sugar Rush who turned heads with a dazzling trial win at Randwick over 738m on September 10.

A $690,000 yearling purchase, Sugar Rush is the first foal of former high class 2YO stakeswinner Sugar Babe (by Exceed And Excel).

All eyes will be on Tulloch Lodge miss Most Joyful when he lines-up in her heat given that she has sibling status to 8-times Group 1 winner More Joyous.

Most Joyful will be joined at tomorrow’s heats by a three-quarter-blood brother to More Joyous named War who also sports the blue and white colours of owner/breeder John Singleton.

No doubt ‘Singo’ is hopeful of a good showing by Sammy’s Girl in Heat 6 given her extraordinary value.

This More Than Ready filly is the first foal of triple Group 1 winner Samantha Miss who was sold for $3.85 million at the 2009 Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare sale.

More Than Ready has sired two winner of the Golden winner already, one of those – Sebring – was trained by Gai Waterhouse.
