Hard to Stay Notgo (3f More Than Ready – Whichwaydidshego, by Storm Cat) was dominant when scoring a convincing seven and three-quarter length victory in the 34th renewal of the Niagara Stakes (LR) at Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack (FLGR) on Friday.
The daughter of More Than Ready completed the six furlong dash for New York-bred 3-year-old fillies in a final time of 1:11.26, ahead of True Shot (Smart Alert) in second and Congaroo (Congaree) in third.
The James Jerkins-trainee was kept with the early pace by jockey Angel Arroyo. She then took command of the event and drew away from her rivals for the win.
This Stakes race takes her earnings to $210,400 for owners Chester and Mary Broman and was her second career stakes victory. She also took the $125,000 Franklin Square at Belmont Park by five and one-half lengths on February 1.
This recent victory for Hard to Stay Notgo brings her career record to 7: 3-1-1.
