EXCITES galloper Scream Machine’s earnings ticked over the half million mark after the horse brought up back-to-back wins at Rosehill on Saturday.

The 5YO gelding has been in a purple patch of form this preparation notably his unlucky effort in the Doomben 10,000 when beaten less than 2-lens which preceded his consecutive wins back home in Sydney.
Scream Machine was sent out a warm $2.40 favourite in the ATC Natski Handicap (1500m) on the strength of his impressive victory at the same venue two weeks prior.

Jockey Tye Angland was responsible for a faultless ride, preserving the horse until unleashing his now trademark finishing burst to gain the upper hand late to beat off stakeswinners Bagman and Single.
“He’s been going great. But there was a little bit of a query in the small field because he has a record of over doing it in the run,” Angland said.
“I just rode him patient and rode him like the best horse in the race.
“He still sprinted well, but what suits him best is what happened last start.
“He can really explode when he is held up in a big field and can sprint late.”

Scream Machine weekend effort saw him bring win number 7 from 37 starts with earnings of $504,225.
“(The owner) has had a really good ride with the horse and hopefully it continues,” trainer Jason Coyle said.
”He is a really great horse to have in the stable and everyone that has worked with him has done a great job to get him to where he is.”
