Close to home, More Than Ready filly Sugar Rush all but made herself an odds-on favourite for next month’s Gimcrack Stakes with a second dazzling trial win.
Later in the day, War, another More Than Ready/Gai Waterhouse co-production won his heat in impressive order.
More Joyous’ brother, Most Joyful was third in heat while Samantha Miss’ first foal by More Than Ready named Sammy’s Miss was second in her trial.
