MOSSMAN son Love Conquers All is poised to add to his superlative first-up record when he returns for the spring in the Group 2 The Shorts (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday.
The $400,000 Magic Millions yearling looks spectacularly well weighted in comparison to some of his opposition with 56kg on board despite him being a multiple Group 1 placegetter.
Love Conquers All has won four times from eight first-up appearances and boasts wins over the likes of Hay List, Pinwheel, Sister Madly and Danleigh.
”He looks super for Team Hawkes,” says Sportsman’s Rosehill trackman John Moc.
”He is my pick in the race which is going to be a great battle from the top class sprinters.
”Love Conquers All appears to have come up great winning a 900m barrier trial in 54.60 on Tuesday at Rosehill.”
Love Conquers All will be ridden by regular partner Jim Cassidy who also pilots Mossman’s ace sprinter/miler Triple Elegance in the Group 1 George Main Stakes (1500m).
