PROMISING Myboycharlie 2YO Little Fighter is guaranteed to carry plenty of punters support this weekend when she goes around in the Boq Finance Services Handicap (1500m) at Eagle Farm.

The lightly-raced bay is yet to miss a place in her three starts including a phenomenal 8-lens win at Kilcoy imediately after her debut third at Ipswich.

Little Fighter made the grade at her last start on Saturday when runner-up in a field of 16 in a deep B. J. McLachlan Classic (1200m) at her home track at the Sunshine Coast standalone.

Trained by Stuart Kendrick, Little Fighter is part owned by prominent owner/syndicator Scott Darby.

“She is a really nice filly, she has done a very good job however i think there is no doubt she will be a lot better next prep,” Kendrick commented, “She looks like the extra trip will suit”.

Little Fighter is out of an End Sweep half-sister to Danehill’s Group 1 two-mile winner winner, Danestorm who won the Brisbane Cup and was second in an Adelaide Cup.

Myboycharlie has enjoyed a fantastic season in 2013/14 both at home and abroad led locally by Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes winner, Peggy Jean and `away’ by recent G1 Coronation Stakes placegetter Euro Charlie who is bound to do her future racing in the USA.
