MYBOYCHARLIE has taken little time to fashion himself as a ‘global sire’ as he continues to climb up the ranks of Australia’s most promising young stallions.

The former Group 1 winning 2YO grandson of Danehill is to be represented by three separate stakes race competitors in the space of as many days on both sides of the equator.

Group 2 runner-up Charlestown is the first to step out when he lines up in the Listed Ray Coupland Stakes (1400m) in New Zealand.

On Sunday in France, Myboycharlie’s first European stakeswinner – 2YO colt Salai seeks to add a Group 3 to his Stakes tally while on Monday in the UK, Greed Is Good tackles the Listed EBF Stallions/Totepool Mobile Silver Tankard Stakes over the mile.

Myboycharlie is already the sire of winners in 8 different countries led by locally-bred Group 2 VRC Danehill Stakes (1200m) winner, Charlie Boy and the aforementioned French juvenile Salai.

Myboycharlie has delivered stakes-placegetters, Charlestown and Dowdstown Charlie, as well as last season’s Adelaide Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) winner, Charles In Charge.
