The John Thompson trained Hussousa will not contest the Group I Golden Slipper after the stable elected to give the filly a spell.
Hussousa was found to be “sore” following her second placing to Samaready in last Saturday’s Group II Reisling Stakes at Rosehill.
Hussousa was assured of a start in the $3.5 million Golden Slipper with the daughter of Husson sitting ninth in the Golden Slipper order of entry.
Before her withdrawal, Hussousa was a $13 chance in the Golden Slipper.
