HOPES are high for 3yoCongrats filly Haveyougoneaway to join her sire’s ever expanding tally of stakeswinners after her mind-blowing win in the USA today.

2014 will see the first crop of Kentucky bred Congrats 2yo’s hit the track and it will be a big crop with Congrats covering more mares in that season than any other U.S stallion.

In the meantime, it is the earlier Florida bred youngster maintaining his sires lofty reputation.  Haveyougoneawat is no exception.  The three-year-old filly made light work of her rivals when streaking away to a 5.5-lens win in the $60,000 1600m Maiden at Oaklawn Park in Arkansas.

So dominant was she that those behind her came in at long intervals with the third horse another 3.8-lens away followed the fourth horse that was almost 6-lens astern.

What makes Haveyougoneaway’s effort all the more encouraging was that this was only her second race start; she was runner-up at the same venue in mid-February.

Haveyougoneway was foaled in New York and is the most recent of 169 individual winners sired by Congrats from 231 runners which gives him a phenomenal 73.2 winners to runners ratio.

Congrats is also the sire of 33 stakes-horses, 3 Grade 1 winners including four-time Grade 1 winner and first crop member, Turbulent Descent.
