AUSSIE bred Onemorenomore 2YO Gotham has drawn the outside barrier for his debut outing in this weekend’s Courtesy Ford 2YO Premier Stakes (1000m) at Otaki.
Gotham was sold out of Windor Park’s draft at Karaka for $65,000 to the Krysia Group Syndicate and is housed at Cambridge with trainer J V McLean.
The gelding is out of an Elvstroem half-sister to the Bob Scarborough bred stakeswinners Leica Guv (NZ Derby), Light Fantastic (VRC Australian Guineas) and G3 winner Lectrice.
It is also the family of dual Doncaster and All Aged winner, Pharoah.
Onemorenomore has sired stakeshorses on both sides of the Tasman including the Kris Lees trained Onemorezeta who was a brilliant winner of the Group 3 VRC Gucci Stakes (1100m) on Oaks day at Flemington.
The Vinery stallion’s NZ stakes-performer is $250,000 Karaka Premier Yearling purchase Purcentage who won her debut by 5-lens before placing in the Listed Courtesy Ford Ryder Stakes (1200m) in July this year.
