LIGHTLY-RACED Big Brown gelding Frank Heavens holds a form edge over this rivals in this weekend’s SAJC Mac Just Over/Don’t Drive Bm70 (1000m) at Morphettville Parks.

Big Brown has sired 10 winners already from his first crop and the Leon Macdonald/Andrew Gluyas trained galloper turned in a sterling debut back on March 8 at this same venue when 0.8-lens second to Get The Nod who took out last Saturday’s G3 MRC Vain Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield.

Frank Heavens was spelled after finishing unplaced in the G3 SAJC Breeders Stakes (1200m) where stablemate Go Indy Go was second.

Frank Heavens should get every chance tomorrow from his favourable barrier and with Clare Lindop to ride.

Frank Heavens is a member of Big Brown’s first Australian crop and was sold for $150,000 from Mill Park’s 2013 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale draft.

His dam, Heaven Instead, is by Arc winner Carnegie out of the 1998 Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel who also happens to be the grand-dam of Mossman gelding Wonder Mossman (late Racing Eight) who have won 5 stakes races since arriving in Macau including last weekend’s feature Star of The Sands.
