LAST start Sydney winners Scream Machine and Black Jag will be flying for the flag for their sire, Excites, in consecutive races at Rosehill on Saturday.

Both horses are members of Excites’ (Danewin – Staging) first crop and have earned over $800,000 between them.

The Jason Coyle-trained Scream Machine is destined to start a short-priced favourite in the ATC Natski Handicap (1500m) after surging win in the Racing2Win at this same venue two weeks back.

Prior to that the gelding was deemed the unlucky runner when beaten just 1.9-lens in the Group 1 ATC Doomben 10,000 in Brisbane.

Black Jag meanwhile is also bound to have admirers in the wake of his thumping 6-lens win at Randwick last Saturday.

The Chris Waller-trained gelding was having his 50th start on the occasion which he celebrated by running his rivals off their legs and take his earnings closer beyond $375,00.
