OUTSTANDING Perth mare Dreamaway adds considerable interest to an already tantalising spring program at Flemington tomorrow when she makes her eastern states debut in the Listed VRC Sofitel Stakes (1400m).

Raced by prominent WA owner/breeders Bob and Sue Peters, Dreamaway is coming of a remarkable five race winning culminating in a rare sweep of the WATC Derby and Oaks.

Dreamaway has been transferred from the WA stables of Grant Williams to Dean Binaisse at Mornington for her spring assault.

Meanwhile, Golden Slipper and Magic Millions hero Phelan Ready lines-up in the VRC Bobbie Lewis (1200m) after two tremendous placings in the Brisbane winter signalling that he’s back on track.

More Than Ready’s other chance for stakes glory on Saturday rests ably with last season’s joint-top rated two-year-old filly, Elite Falls, who tackles the Furious Stakes in Sydney.

”Elite Falls is bound to improve second-up with the added fitness and the return to level weights,” says Vinery’s Adam White.

”She has raced twice second-up for a win in the Inglis Banner then when runner-up in the Silver Slipper to Satin Shoes who she came out and defeated in the Reisling after that.”
