SATURDAY’S $2.2 million Doncaster Mile has a distinct green and white flavour to it given the presence of so many Vinery related horses.

For starters, the even-money favourite More Joyous is a flag bearer for More Than Ready while second pick Triple Elegance is a son of Mossman.

Mossman is also represented in the feature by Love Conquers All who finished just a head of him in the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes.

Making up a quartet is the Chris Waller trained Danleigh who was sold out of Vinery’s Magic Million National Yearling Sale draft for $220,000 in 2009.

”It’s great to have so many chances in a race like the Doncaster and I am sure they will all run well, the weather will be the key” Vinery’s Conor Phelan.

”We don’t mind which one of the horses by our stallions wins but it would be great for racing to see More Joyous add another group one to her tally and make if 10 straight wins in Sydney for Gai Waterhouse and John Singleton.”
