A yearling colt by boom Vinery Sire Congrats was purchased by Bortolazzo Stable for $90,000 to top Wednesday’s second and final session of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s January Mixed Sale.
The colt was the second-highest price overall at the auction at more than 12 times the sale average.

“We are very excited about Congrats” commented Vinery’s Adam White, “He is one of the leading son’s of A.P Indy having been crowned Champion First Season Sire last season ahead of A.P Indy’s other shuttler, Bernadini.”
“Bernadini has been well recieved here in Australia and Congrats gives every impression of continuing his success down here. He had the book full sign up very quickly last season and we’ve already been inundated with requests”.
