A MYBOYCHARLIE half-sister to up and coming Sydney galloper Koroibete sold for $140,000 at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
Offered on account of Stuart Ramsey’s Turangga Farm (as agent), the filly was knocked down to the Belmont Bloodstock Agency (FBBA).
The winning bidders could well consider themselves as having snared a bargain given that not more a week after they collected her, the Gerald Ryan trained filly Peggy Jean took out the $250,000 Inglis Classic (1200m) at Royal Randwick.
One other notable buyer who took home a Myboycharlie was Rosehill trainer David Payne who bought first crop son and future stakesperformer Dowdstown Charlie at the Gold Coast in 2012 as well as Artistic Lass that will be aimed at the Oaks this Autumn.
Myboycharlie has already sired one Magic Millions winner in the shape of Anthony Freedman’s Charles In Charge who won the Adelaide M.M. 2YO Classic (1200m) in 2013.
All in all, there was only one Myboycharlie to pass in for the whole sale where they averaged $48,300.
