MYBOYCHARIE Chasing Charlie is in line for a rich payday if he is able to convert his talents into a win in tomorrow’s $250,000 Inglis Nursery (1000m) at Warwick Farm.
A $50,000 Melbourne Premier Yearling purchase, Chasing Charlie started $2.10 on favourite on debut at Canberra on November 30.
The Barbara Joseph/Paul Jones trained youngster showed enormous pace and speed to win the 1000m dash in grand style.
Chasing Charlie is one of two winners so far for his former Champion 2YO racehorse and freshman sire Myboycharlie whose first runner, Charlie Boy, won at Rosehill last month.
Myboycharlie has nine yearlings headed to the Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale beginning on January 9 and a further 14 bound for the Classic at Newmarket later in the month.
Among his Inglis Classic consignment is Lot 31, a full-sister to Chasing Charlie.
