REIGNING Adelaide Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Charles In Charge made a triumphant return to the scene of his finest performance so far when he took out the SAJC Australia Day Races Handicap (1400m) at Morphettville Parks on Saturday.

The son of former Champion 2YO French Colt Myboycharlie made light work of his rivals despite his 59kg to post an easy 1.3-lens win.

Charles In Charge was sold to trainer Anthony Cummings for $50,000 at the 2012 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast and has already won more than double his initial purchase price.

The 3YO is out of Honour And Glory mare Gloravega who foaled another Myboycharlie colt in 2012.

Named Baio, the colt has shown above average ability in his unfolding career notably his third to Mossman filly Mossfun in the ATC Inglis Nursery.

Baio is trained by Bjorn Baker who took out last Saturday’s $2m Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) on the Gold Coast with Testa Rossa son Unencumbered.
