MOSSMAN mare Ofcourseican is on target to post another Stakes win when her spring campaign opens in the Listed Sheraco Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

The Ron Quinton-trained mare was rewarded for her life-long consistency when taking the Listed Wenona Girl (1200m) at Warwick Farm during the autumn.

Following that Ofcourseican finished fifth in both the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes (1600m) and the Group 3 Birthday Card Quality.

”She looked very good in her last trial when running a close second to Flying Success who she is up against tomorrow,” says Vinery’s Adam White.

”She has a very good record first and second-up, I suppose the only spanner in the works would be if the track happened to be slow or heavy, she seems to be much better on top of the ground.”

Meanwhile, in Melbourne crack Queensland sprinter Bufferring tackles a hot field of sprinters vying for the Group 2 McEwen Stakes (1000m) at Moonee Valley tomorrow.

With speed to burn and blinkers on first up, Buffering may have too much for his rivals tomorrow as he heads south for another raid on Spring riches.
