PROMISING galloper Cool Maverick continued on his merry way scoring the second win from as many starts this current campaign in today’s Robert Price-Winning Trainer Class 2 Handicap (1100m) at Goulburn.
The son of Vinery resident Dubleo was sent out the $1.40 favourite on TAB Sportsbet after a dominant first-up win at the venue two weeks ago.
Cool Maverick boasts some superb formlines at his only two other appearances finishing behind the likes of Manawanui, Foxwedge, Anise and Do You Think.
”The horse has obviously come back in great shape,” says Vinery’s Conor Phelan, “Dubleo makes them tough and Cool Maverick is no exception”.
