MOSSMAN galloper Under The Eiffel has been posted as the $2.80 favourite with TAB Sportsbet to add tomorrow’s Group 3 MRC Alannah & Madeline Foundation Stakes (1500m) to his burgeoning record of race wins.
The Tony Vasil trained gelding is aiming for three straight victories after scoring at Seymour and Flemington on Melbourne Cup day where he reeled in the smart Sydney-sider Hood to win the final race on the program.
Under The Eiffel has so far won 5 of his 13 starts and has been runner-up three times including in the Group 2 MRC D’Urban Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
He also ran fifth in the Group 1 VRC Australian Guineas (1600m) won by Shamrocker.
