TALENTED Husson 3YO Mr Tangalanga looks destined to win his share of his races after a sterling debut win in the nation’s capital last Friday.
The Barbara Joseph/Paul Jones trained galloper had to overcome the outside alley in the field of 12 which forced him to race wide throughout in the 1080m Maiden.
Despite this, Mr Tangalanga was able to assert his authority in the concluding stages setting up a 0.5-lens win over the lightly-raced Casino Prince filly Casino Cassie with the promise of more to come.
Mr Tangalanga is the fourth foal of Canny Lad mare Canny Laughter who is herself a grand-daughter of Rivage who won the Light Fingers Stakes, Newcastle Penfolds Classic and Gosford Slipper.
