BEL Danoro colt Bolero Dancer is bound to have his share of admirers on debut after the Clarry Conners-trained youngster scored an impressive win at the Warwick Farm barrier trials held this morning.
With the track rated heavy, the Baramul Stud-bred 2YO covered the 810m in 49.4 seconds to win the heat by a half-length with a further two lengths to the third placed horse.
Bolero Dancer is the third foal of Timber Country mare, Geography, whose grand-dam is the 1981 Fernhill Stakes winner, Come On Lady.
Geography has a Testa Rossa yearling filly and a Bel Danoro full brother to Bolero Dancer delivered last season prior to a visit to AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes winner, Excites.
