The Stakes winning David Bentata-bred youngster remains on target to contest the coveted Group 1 Golden Horseshoe (1200m) next month month where he is almost certain to clash with the unbeaten Delago Deluxe – a maternal grandson of the epic mare Staging (dam of Vinery resident sire, Excites).
Gimmiethegreenlight was sold from among Vinery Stud’s 2009 Magic Millions National Weanling sale consignment for $155,000 to current owner Hassen Adams.
The young racehorse is a half brother to David Bentata’s stakeswinning mare and Mossman daughter, Ofcourseican, both delivered from his own Canny Lad mare, Yes She Can Cancan.
