FIRST crop Excites filly Stirring Emotion will be aiming for a hat-trick of wins the next time she steps out after winning her second consecutive race at yesterday’s Muswellbrook meeting.
The Brett Thompson trained three-year-old took her record to three wins and four placings from only 8 career starts.
”Today was the first time what Stirring Emotion had seen a wet track (slow 7) and she carried 57kgs, the highest weight she’s been asked to carry so far, so her effort was full of merit,” says Vinery’s Adam White.
”Brett places her incredibly well, you can see that in her record, but all credit to the filly, she has delivered each time.”
Stirring Emotions win follows the dazzling debut win by Excites three-year-old Avadale at Gosford last Thursday.
The Clarry Conners-trained miss is now being targeted at the Listed AJC Brian Crowley Stakes (1200m) run on Epsom day at Randwick.
