Vinery sire Onemorenomore has finished a very successful season with a final-day winner at Tamworth.
Warwick Avenue (Rock Revival by Flying Spur) broke his maiden in the Downtown Magazine Hcp (1000m) on Friday to improve his sire’s record to 36 winners of 53 races in 2014-15. Those stats saw him finish in third spot on the Second Season Sires table behind I Am Invincible and Nicconi.
Onemorenomore sired 4 stakes performers during the season headed by Onemorezeta who won the Gr.3 Gucci Stakes (1100m) at Flemington during the Melbourne Cup carnival. The Kris Lees trained filly is back in work for a spring campaign.
“She will be ready to trial in about a month,” stable manager Jo Curtis said. “Kris is very happy with the way she spelled and will look at a stakes races towards the back-end of the spring carnival.”
In Singapore, Onemorenomore gallopers Excellent One (Gr.3 Juvenile Championship) and Genius (Gr.2 Aushorse Golden Horseshoe) both earned black-type when placed behind champion colt Super One.
And in New Zealand, Onemorenomore filly Purcentage was second on the leader-board after making $180,000 at the NZB Winter Sale at Karaka on Friday.
Purcentage won the NZB Pearl Series (1200m) at Avondale and was placed in the LR Ryder Stakes at Otaki. She was sold as a broodmare prospect to the China Horse Club.
Vinery stands Onemorenomore for a $6,600 (inc GST) service fee.
