The Mick Price-trained Testa My Patience became Testa Rossa’s 38th individual Stakes winner when a dominant winner in the $200,000 Group 2 Crystal Mile (1600m) at Moonee Valley today.
A last start winner, Testa My Patience raced in blinkers for the first time to record and one and a half length victory over Hawks Bay with a further length and three quarters to He’s Remarkable in third.
Ridden by Craig Newitt, Testa My Patience recorded 1.36.74 for the mile with his next goal the Group One Emirates Mile in a fortnight against the Mossman stallion Love Conquers All.
It is the second Stakes winner in a week for Vinery’s Testa Rossa following Ranger’s win in the Northerly Stakes last weekend.
