MOSSMAN duo Buffering and Love Conquers All are each chasing well earned Group 1 wins tomorrow as the Flemington spring racing carnival comes to a climax.
The interstate visitors have both already Group 2 races and are Group 1 placed but have so far been denied their respective glory for one reason or another.
”If any horse deserves a big race, it’s definitely Love Conquers All,” Vinery’s Adam White said.
”He was beaten narrowly a couple of times including in the George Ryder and the Doomben 10,000 as well as running second in the Doncaster, so he is pretty comfortable at this level.”
Meanwhile, ace Queensland sprinter Buffering has to try and overcome the might and power of unbeaten mare Black Caviar in the Group 1 VRC Patinack Stakes (1200m).
”It’s a mammoth task I know but he has form around Black Caviar from his third in the BTC Cup so he is potentially the best of the others,” says White.
